The first Lonnie’s Meat Market location opened nearly two decades ago in central Arkansas and consisted of a one man crew, a meat slicer and a lot of hard work. Through effort and determination, Lonnie Copeland built a reputation for owning a store that not only had an uncanny ability to serve customers with its selection and prices, but also as a friendly atmosphere people simply enjoyed shopping at.

Almost 20 years later, Lonnie’s Meat Market is a household name around the state of Arkansas. The company consists of multiple locations, but is still family owned and operated, just as it was from day one. Lonnie's Meat Market is known for carrying not only delicious steaks, seafood, pork, etc, but also exotic, hard-to-find items like prawns, homemade sauces and authentic specialty items.

Because of the success of the Lonnie’s Meat Market brick and mortar locations, in 2007 LonniesMeatMarket.com was launched to expand the reach and customer base of the stores. We thought, if so many people around the state of Arkansas enjoy the service, selection and superiority of our meat, why shouldn’t the entire country have the same advantage?
